That’s why it might sometimes be hard to decide what to plant for the best efficiency. Here’s what you need to think about before planting.
Harvesting time. The first thing to consider is how often you can visit your farm. If you can only visit it once a day there’s no point in planting strawberries that wilt in eight hours. That’s just a waste of money. You must be back to the crop within double the time it takes for it to grow. Wheat, for example, will grow for 3 days and then you’ll have another 3 days to pick it up. That’s a very generous amount of time but you won’t get nearly the same profit that you get from the faster crops. So, the more often you can visit your farm, the better.
Experience. Another factor is the experience the crops give.
It’s the same thing here as with the harvesting time, if you have the time to check your farm more often, you should plant crops that take a shorter time because the overall experience per hour will be better than with the longer crops.
Money. If you’re after the coins you have to consider the amount you put into the crop and how much it returns to you. Only thinking about the money, the best crop to plant would be tomatoes. They bring you 1218 coins/week. You must remember that tomatoes grow in 8 hours and you need to be there to pick them up. What you also have to remember when calculating these is the ploughing cost.
